First Ernest B. Yeager Frontiers in Electrochemical Science and Electrochemical Technology
October 12-14, 2005
The Ernest B. Yeager Frontiers in Electrochemical Science and Electrochemical Technology pay tribute to Prof. Ernest B. Yeager and his contributions to electrochemistry during his long and distinguished career as a researcher and as an educator at Case Western Reserve University. The primary goal of the Frontiers is to provide a venue for eminent electrochemical scientists and engineers in academia, national laboratories and industry to present and discuss their latest accomplishments and challenges with their colleagues.
This international gathering will be held every two years at Case Western Reserve University and will include, in addition to plenary invited talks, a poster session hosted by The Joint Student Chapter of YCES and the Cleveland Local Section of the Electrochemical Society. The first Frontiers will be held October 12-14, 2005 at Squire Valleevue Farm, a Case property that includes forest, ravines, waterfalls, meadows, ponds, and a self-contained natural watershed which is part of the Emerald Necklace, a system of metroparks that surrounds Cleveland.
