To enhance the education and training of students in fundamental and applied aspects of electrochemistry.
To provide a national and international resource for the dissemination of electrochemical knowledge within industrial, laboratory, academic communities and the general public and to support the continuing education of professional electrochemists.
To promote interactions between electrochemists and their research colleagues through seminars and symposia.
